Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Human Resources Management, Talent Management Directorate, CBP Processing and Servicing Center, located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
What You'll Do
- →As a Human Resources Assistant, you will play a vital role working on a team of Human Resources and Records Management professionals within United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
- →This position starts at a salary of $50,930.00 (GS-7, Step 1) to $66,210.00 (GS-7, Step 10) GS Salary: Visit this link to view the locality pay tables by geographic area.

- →Major Duties: Retrieving data from information sources, both manual and electronic, for use in answering questions, and responding to email inquiries.
- →Providing guidance and training to internal lower graded team members.
- →Consolidating employee personnel records into various data base systems and performing a variety of tasks in support of records management such as the export and import of personnel documents into employees Electronic Official Personnel Folder (eOPF).
- →Applying a wide range of human resources concepts, laws, policies and regulations to address and resolve human resources complex issues.
