What You'll Do
- →You will plan and execute troubleshooting and repair of high voltage distribution, controls and sub-station systems.
- →You will diagnose and determine corrective action necessary for power outages and malfunctions of all types.
- →You will interpret electrical, electronic and mechanical drawings.
- →You will use motor vehicles on on-paved or natural terrain void of roads and observe safety procedures to prevent damage to property and injury to self and others.
- →You will analyze and trouble shoot electrical issues on 12 KV breakers and circuitry within the system to determine which parts need repair.
- →You will implement installation of electrical equipment (e.g., transformers, capacitors, insulators, switches, circuit breakers, fuses, meters, etc.) to connect main distribution lines.
- →You will perform full service installation of home and industrial power supply You will use electrical testing instruments such as meggers, micrometers, and ohmmeters to identify general fault location.
- →You will determine type of electrical tools, materials, and equipment needed to conduct methods of electrical installation and repairs.
- →You will replace and adjust mechanical contacts and tripping to control time delay intervals of circuit breakers and relays.
