You will serve as a Heavy Mobile Equipment Repair Inspector Supervisor I in the Inspection Branch (Code 721), Lifting and Handling Department of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will advise the Branch Head, Division Head, and Crane Program Director on all matters concerning the Weight Handling Equipment (WHE) Inspection Program.
- →You will investigate and analyze practices and problems and recommend/initiate effective improvements and solutions.
- →You will display initiative and ingenuity to meet changing needs in technology, material, and process.
- →You will provide on-site guidance and problem resolution to subordinates.
- →You will hear and resolve grievances and serious employee complaints.
- →You will fully support the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Program.
