The Healthcare Engineer (VISN Energy Manager) position is within the VISN 1 Director's office and is assigned to the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 1, New England Healthcare System. This position is permanent and full-time at 40 hours per week. Location negotiable within VISN 1, upon selection.
What You'll Do
- →This position serves as the VISN Energy Manager and reports to the VISN Capital Assets Manager (CAM).
- →The VISN Energy Manager coordinates with the Office of Healthcare Environmental and Facilities Program (HEFP) and acts as principle VISN liaison and main point of contact for engineering compliance between VA Central Office, VISN Management, Office of Capital Asset and Management; Office of Healthcare Engineering (OHE); Chief Engineers within the VISN; and other VISN Energy Managers.
- →Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm Compressed/Flexible: Not available.
- →Telework: Available on an ad-hoc basis only upon the supervisor's discretion.
- →Virtual: This is not a virtual position.

Requirements
- ✓You must be a U.S.
