About the Position: This position serves as a health technician and administrative assistant within the Soldier Readiness Center, performing a variety of health care and administrative support duties for Soldier Readiness (SR), and is located with Womack Army Medical Center's, at Fort Bragg, NC This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Screen medical records for Soldiers, DA Civilians and Contractors for Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) and Soldier Readiness Processing (SRP), updating individual medical readiness in computerized and paper-based medical records.
- →Assist a physician in a variety of patient examination procedures.
- →Conduct interviews with patients to gather medical history.
- →Determine the specimen(s) to be collected for the laboratory work to be performed based on the laboratory requisition or clinical orders entered in the hospital information system.
- →Obtain and record vital signs using stethoscope, electronic blood pressure and temperature device; records height and weight.
- →Monitor medical supplies and equipment in patient areas.
