This position is located in Unity Healing Center, Cherokee, NC. Incumbent serves as Cultural Health Technician responsible for the development, implementation, provision, and documentation and monitoring of the cultural education component of the program. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
What You'll Do
- →Total Compensation Package - Check out IHS's outstanding total compensation package for this job: Health Technician Total Compensation | Pay (ihs.gov) Work with a multi-disciplinary team, in order to design, implement, facilitate, provide, and document cultural treatment services withing the Clinical Services program.
- →Will facilitate sweat lodge, Talking Circle, and other cultural and spiritual functions.
- →Work directly with local spiritual practitioners, the Education Department, with adolescent residents, parents, tribal alcohol programs, and tribal social services.
- →Provide information and education about spirituality and cultural identity to help residents make an informed choice.
Requirements
