About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at 5th Medical Group, Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota.
What You'll Do
- →Serve as a Credentials Specialists for the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) within the Professional Affairs Branch.
- →Provide consultation services, ongoing review, and interpretation of regulatory requirements.
- →Prepare reports and recommend actions to correct deficiencies and/or improve operations.
- →Coordinate interactions with local, state and Federal agencies responsible for credentials and the privileging of independent healthcare providers, and all licensed, registered, and/or certified healthcare employees.
- →Manage the credentials and privileging program for privileged health care providers.
- →Conduct internal reviews and audits of the Provider Credential Files (PCF) and Provider Activity Files (PAF) to assure activities of the office comply with standards, policies, and guidance.
