About the Role

The Associate Group Practice Manager provides consultative support to improve patient access by standardizing processes, interpreting policies, and reviewing workflows across services. Uses data analytics and continuous improvement methods to enhance efficiency, address patient concerns, support training, and guide resource and budget planning. Collaborates with clinic leaders, Veteran Experience staff, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent, high-quality ambulatory care operations.

What You'll Do

  • Major duties include but are not limited to the following: Provides access-related consultative services, working in collaboration with facility service lines, to review and develop guidance and policies that will facilitate standardized processes.
  • Collaborates with local personnel to integrate data analytics into continuous process improvement, utilizing LEAN, Six Sigma, and other improvement methodologies to meet and sustain ambulatory care goals and objectives.
  • Collects and analyzes/reports trended data sets; makes recommendations to assist in the allocation of resources.
  • Reviews and provides input on regulations and policies for local interpretation.
  • Utilizes advanced principles and strategies for access improvement, including identifying strategies to reduce backlogs.
  • Monitors existing or emerging workflow issues; monitors consult management issues and guides staff when required.
  • Monitors Information Technology (IT) usage and issues and provides information or assistance as needed.
  • Applies administrative policies and established process improvement strategies.
  • Assists clinic managers in forecasting the impact of staff changes and developing countermeasures to mitigate the effect of staff shortages on access to care.
  • Performs cost analysis and cost effectiveness studies to determine make/buy decisions to address gaps.
  • Acts as a liaison or point person for communications with persons and/or groups internal or external to the facility, representing Community Care on clinical access issues.
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm.
  • Work Schedule is subject to change based on agency need.
