About the Position: The Health System Specialist position is located at Brooke Army Medical Center, San Antonio, TX. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.
What You'll Do
- →Oversight of performance and management of administrative operations of the department.
- →Assist in the development of plans, programs, and monitoring of clinics and health plan management.
- →Develop policies and/or programs related to organizational structure, civilian human resource programs, selection, orientation, evaluation, training, awards, and discipline.
- →Analyze administrative clinical practices and recommends improvements in areas of deficiency.
- →Serve as the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) to local Contracting Officer for the administrative support of civilian contracts.
- →Monitor compliance regulations, statutes and/or establishes control procedures to ensure compliance.
- →Investigate patient inquiries, complaints and/o use interpersonal and communication skills effectively to advocate for patients, families, employees, and other public entities by providing information and seeking solutions to complaints.
