About the Position: Serves as Health Systems Specialist at Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, Virginia who provides support to management by analyzing, evaluating, advising and coordinating all credentials activities. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Develops and maintains communication tools regarding empanelment procedures for eligible patient populations.
- →Ensures enrollment and empanelment errors are corrected, and that protocols remain up-to-date and followed.
- →Generates a variety of enrollment-related reports on a regular and as-needed basis.
- →Assists leadership with the development and completion of any performance reports, surveys, audits, and data pulls.
- →Builds and sustains relationships with current and prospective network providers, ensuring contracts are maintained and the provider network remains adequate.
- →Researches and recommends appropriate actions or interpretations of issues impacting the organization, installation, command, or agency.
