About the Position The Health System Specialist provides support to the A. T. Augusta Military Medical Center in Fort Belvoir VA, helping ensure consistent, high-quality patient care and facility operations. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in DoD.
What You'll Do
- →Monitor the Military Healthcare System (MHS) for trends, analysis, and comparisons, gather and interpret data.
- →Provide substantive management support in the areas of program cost analysis, annual and multi-year fiscal planning, and development of annual health promotion programs.
- →Develop and/or assist with the implementation of metrics for program evaluation.
- →Advise Supervisor of ongoing allocations that require re-budgeting due to changes in program staffing, new facilities, locations, requirements to maintain accreditation, or other situations.
- →Monitor propriety of expenditure requests, use and reimbursement rate of budgeted funds.
- →Monitor and/or coordinate personnel matters (e.g. recruitment and placement actions, removal and suspension actions, EEO complaints, denial of within grade actions, performance management, etc.).
- →Manage, monitor and/or ensure Joint Commissions and required inspection compliance.
