About the Position: Serves as the Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) coordinator, Family Member Travel Screening (FMTS) coordinator overseeing, processing, and handling EFMP cases, providing advice, guidance and assistance to administrative staff, medical personnel, service members and their families, and others on the procedures, and recommendations associated with programs in a Military Treatment Facility (MTF) or clinic environment. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Serve as the primary point of contact for planning, developing, and coordinating the administrative and management functions of Military Treatment Facilities (MTF) Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP).
- →Provide advice and guidance to MTF leadership regarding program needs and assessments.
- →Serve as technical authority for identifying dependent family members of active-duty service personnel, who have special healthcare, education, physical, developmental, emotional, or intellectual disabilities or illnesses.
- →Validate all incoming medical and education forms for accuracy and ensure proper coding to include clarification of discrepancies and problem areas.
- →Identify, coordinate, and provide referrals for specialized support and follow up on actions to ensure services for eligible military family members.
- →Direct, oversee, and assign duties to subordinates assigned to the EFMP clinic.
- →Prepare the required reports outlined in regulation and as requested by higher headquarters.
