About the Position: This position is located in Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Director for Healthcare Operations, Department of Managed Care Business Decision Support in Bethesda, MD. Hours of operation: Monday- Friday 0730 - 1600 This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Coordinates and consults with Service Chief or designated supervisor on program administrative matters.
- →Maintains files in support of assigned program.
- →Schedules appointments and makes arrangements for meetings.
- →Develops, accumulates and maintains a variety of statistical data reflecting effectiveness and efficiency, narrative explanations for variations indicated.
- →Prepare reports, justifications, charts, graphs, statistical and narrative data for presentations and briefings.
- →Establishes and maintains manpower database information for the assigned service.
- →Serves as the principal advisor/assistant to the supervisor and local office staff in the areas of administrative procedures, personnel management, document control, and a variety of other administrative matters.
- →Reviews and analyzes administrative directives and policies.
