About the Position: This position is for Lead of Laboratory Informatics and is located within the DHA Assistant Director(AD) Health Care Administration HCA, Digital Health Integration Office (DHIO) and is located in Falls Church, VA, San Antonio, TX, OR Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA.This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Advanced In Hire may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Analyze, evaluate, advise, and coordinate healthcare delivery systems and operations in relation to the DOD (Department of Defense) and VA's EHR (Electronic Health Records) implementation.
- →Oversee major programs, including the transition from legacy systems to MHS GENESIS, optimization of laboratory workflows, and deployment of health information technology (IT) to new laboratory facilities.
- →Conduct research to develop and implement appropriate solutions.
- →Lead and mentor team of professionals providing issue resolution for more than 500 global DOD (Department of Defense) laboratories.
- →Lead coordination efforts to ensure cohesive policy implementation across the Federal healthcare space.
- →Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders ensuring effective communication.
