About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Bassett Army Community Hospital in Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Federal employees in Alaska are currently entitled to receive a 1.49% Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary. This is subject to change. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Perform the initial interview and personally handles unusually difficult or sensitive cases.
- →Provide age appropriate Developmental Screening Questionnaires, along with instructions, to all families with children birth through 6 years of age prior to their appointment with the medical screener.
- →Responsible for coordinating the Family Member Travel Screening documents with the gaining OCONUS medical authority and returning the family travel recommendation outcome to the service member.
- →Instruct health facility staff, in conjunction with the EFMP provider, on an annual basis, concerning the criteria for enrollment and completion of the medical and educational enrollment forms.
- →Provide advice, guidance and assistance to administrative staff, medical personnel, service members and their families, and others on the procedures, objectives, options, and results of the program.
- →Review enrollment packets for completeness, accuracy, legibility and regulatory compliance.
