Join the Indian Health Services as a Health System Specialist (CAC) at the Red Lake Service Unit in Red Lake, MN, supporting electronic health record (EHR) systems and clinical information applications. Work with staff to implement and optimize healthcare technology, improve workflows, troubleshoot system issues, and provide technical guidance supporting quality patient care. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
What You'll Do
- →Total Compensation Package - Check out IHS's outstanding total compensation package for this job: Health System Specialist Total Compensation | Pay (ihs.gov) Serve as the application manager for assigned electronic health record (EHR) and clinical software applications, including implementation, maintenance, and optimization.
- →Configures, tests, troubleshoots, and optimizes EHR and clinical application functionality.
- →Analyzes workflows and recommends system improvements to support clinical operations.
- →Provides user training and technical guidance to clinical and administrative staff.
- →Coordinates with clinical leadership, information technology, and program staff to implement, support, and optimize clinical information systems.
- →Develops reports, analyzes data, and supports regulatory reporting, quality improvements, and accreditation requirements.
Requirements
