About the Role
This position is located in the Health Promotion Disease Prevention Branch, within the Division of Public Health at Crownpoint Service Unit, Crownpoint NM. The primary purpose of the position is to coordinate all phases of the Alcohol & Drug Prevention Program including methamphetamine and suicide collaborating with the service unit staff and Health Promotion priorities. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
What You'll Do
- →Plans, manages and evaluates the program; provides oversight, direction, control cost, develops yearly plan, and submits monthly updates.
- →Facilitates collaboration in program development, implementation, and evaluation projects addressing program priorities between I.H.S., Tribal, Community, school, and private entities.
- →Identifies priorities, plans, implements, evaluates, and markets Alcohol & Drug Prevention Project and Community Wellness Programs.
- →Coordinates with the staff to identify, prioritize, plan, implement, evaluate, advocate and submit written reports.
- →Conducts data collection for program evaluation.
Requirements

- ✓Citizenship is required Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959 This is a designated position covered by Public Law 101-630, requiring contact or control over Indian children.
