About the Position: Serves as the key proponent and Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the establishment and maintenance of the Networks Risk Management programs. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
What You'll Do
- →Plan, implement, manage, and evaluate the Network's risk management program activities and compliance.
- →Investigate cases to identify risks and problems and to determine the quality and appropriateness of patient care.
- →Monitor, assess and communicate effectiveness of risk management processes.
- →Provide consultative advice and assistance in the identification and investigation of quality improvement/risk management problems.
- →Collaborate with staff proponents to manage event reporting systems and track risk management outcomes.
- →Maintain close liaison with legal counsel to support reporting, investigating, and defending medical claims.
- →Create and maintain file plans to ensure maximum protection from discoverability afforded by law.
- →Identify and review patient complaints, potentially compensable events, sentinel events, and other program issues.
