What You'll Do
- →Operates large, complex riding lawn mowers and/or specially designed with attached equipment such as gang mowers, aerators, plows, chippers, sprayers, disks, post hole diggers, front-end loading devices, movable dozer blades, and backhoes.
- →Uses heavy power mowers, powered tools, adjusts blades, and cleans and oils mowers; cuts trees, using ax or chain saw.
- →Frequently operates attached equipment from the seat of the tractor using hydraulic or mechanical controls.
- →Equipment characteristics include single-function performance and components that are independently controlled with mechanical devices.
- →May operate mechanical and hydraulic connections between the towed or attached equipment and makes numerous equipment adjustments.
- →Performs operator maintenance on equipment.
- →Works on level or rolling terrain in such areas as open fields, golf courses, lawns, and along roadways.
- →Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy.
- →Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner.
- →Takes action to solve problems quickly.
- →Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise.
- →Adheres to safety regulations and standards.
- →Uses required safety equipment and observes safe work procedures.
- →Promptly reports any observed workplace hazards, and any injury, occupational illness, and/or property damage resulting from workplace mishaps to the immediate supervisor.
