About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Keesler Medical Group at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Provide comprehensive genetic counseling for clients and families with genetic, genomic, epigenetic, pharmacogenetic conditions.
- →Collect comprehensive genetic histories and family histories, construct multi-generational pedigrees, analyze data to support diagnostic evaluations and testing, and collaborate with health care professionals.
- →Provide advisory and clinical support to patients and/or parents/individuals for face-to-face counseling and education.
- →Provide genetic counseling support through participating in multidisciplinary medical activities.
- →Provide input towards new approaches to patient service based on past experience and newly learned techniques.
- →Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures related to program implementation.
- →Identify families at risk, interpret information about the disorder, analyze inheritance patterns, and review available options with the family.
