About the Position: This is a permanent position located at Tank-Automotive and Armament Command (TACOM) Customer Programs, Quality and Logistics Directorate, Watervliet Arsenal. The Watervliet Arsenal is an Army-owned and -operated manufacturing center located in New York. It is the oldest, continuously active arsenal in the United States having begun operations in 1813.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as General Supply Specialist with responsibility for performing technical supply support and assistant work necessary to ensure the effective and efficient operation of ongoing supply activities.
- →Incumbent is officially appointed as cardholder of the Government Commercial Credit Card and is responsible for properly safeguarding the credit card and account information.
- →Responsible for ordering, verifying charges, and the overall management of all petroleum, oil and lubricant products.
- →Plans, conducts and leads the execution of complex projects that require considerable data collection and analytical ability to resolve supply actions.
- →Serves as back-up point of contact for all safety footwear, prescription safety glasses and protective clothing for the installation.
