This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA to meet Critical Hiring Needs for recruitment and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service About the Position: This is a PERMANENT position as a General Maintenance and Operations Supervisor with the Directorate of Public Works, Fort Jackson, SC.
What You'll Do
- →Coordinate a variety of general maintenance related operations performed by work leaders, and journeyman level workers in accordance with regulatory and organizational guidelines.
- →Direct employees within a variety of general maintenance and repair tasks in accordance with mission requirements.
- →Assure that equal employment opportunities are practiced in accordance with regulatory and organizational policy.
- →Establish the standard operating procedures for the branch in accordance with organizational guidance.
- →Make visual and operational inspections of work accomplished to ensure facilities are maintained in an acceptable state of repair.
