This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Hawaii is a beautiful state, but has a high cost of living. Hawaii has many outdoor activities all year round including surfing, paddling, diving, fishing, and hiking.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as a technically responsible engineer Program/Project manager with full responsibility for directing the day-to-day management activities covering planning, programming, budgeting, project development, and contract oversight.
- →You will be responsible for managing projects from pre-award to post-award executions, developing Request for Proposal (RFP) packages for contract acquisition.
- →You will develop construction (Minor and Major construction and Sustainment, Restoration and modernization (SRM) project requirements with users input, DPW standards, and engineering requirements.
- →You will visit proposed construction sites, review engineering feasibility reports, coordinate topographic surveys and engineer exploratory work, and recommend appropriate skill sets to execute the work.
- →You will monitor and coordinate the scheduling and accomplishment of the various phases of work to ensure construction in accordance with plans, specifications, schedule, and budget.
