The incumbent serves as a program liaison for assigned mission program elements and associated facilities, projects, and/or dynamic experiments that may include: Infrastructure, Operations, Maintenance and Modernization; Nuclear Stockpile Stewardship; Nuclear Materials Management; Nuclear Incident Response; Defense Nuclear Nonproliferation, Counterterrorism and Counterproliferation; and Underground Test Readiness.
What You'll Do
- →As a General Engineer/Physical Scientist you will: Analyzes program and project management plans and oversees programmatic goals, milestones and objectives to ensure they are included in project planning and that work is executed within the approved schedule, budget, and change control processes.
- →The incumbent ensures contractor scope is clearly defined, aligns with Program Work Authorizations and Implementation Plans, and is executed safely and securely.
- →Engages with headquarters, the state, and contractor management, exercises discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of project/program significance.
- →Coordinates funding requirements and financial activities between NFO, the contractor, Special Partnership Project entities, and the national weapons laboratories and ensures that federal authorizations and approval are acquired.

- ✓Financial Disclosure is required.
- ✓Must be able to obtain/maintain a Q level Security Clearance.
- ✓You must be a United States Citizen.
