About the Position: This senior position provides advice and support to the Engineer Branch Chief and the Logistics Support Division Chief, AFRICOM Regional Engineer (ARE) is located at Headquarters.
What You'll Do
- →Develops and implements standardized USAFRICOM engineering solutions.
- →Manages all engineer activities in a geographic region of Africa: specifically, Infrastructure, Environmental, Security Engagements, and Contingency Operations.
- →Manages workload, assets and budget requirements for execution across Military Construction (MILCON) and Exercise Related Construction (ERC) projects.
- →Facilitates sharing of lessons learned and information across the Logistics Directorate.
- →Ensures subordinate commands properly collect and input required data elements and reports in various USAFRICOM electronic applications.
