What You'll Do
- →Serves as a General Engineer, Program Manager and geographic engineering POC in DLA Installation Support Europe and Africa, Installation Management Division (SF-GI) for assigned facilities engineering projects and advisory services.
- →Develops, initiates and/or interprets objectives, policies, and functions as related to facilities engineering and its application and implementation to assigned projects.
- →Conducts or coordinates supplemental inspections and studies necessary to provide information required for an informed decision in formulating project proposals.
- →Provides engineering services and technical assistance for assigned SRM projects concerning facility maintenance, preservation, and management of assigned real property facilities in AOR(EUCOM).
- →Represents DLA in negotiations with requesting activities, DIC agents, A/E firms, and Regional/Service offices on DLA funded projects and reviews and makes recommendations.
- →Provides advice and assistance on unusual conditions or design deficiencies that arise during construction and which affect project funding, progress, or completion.
- →Performs other duties as assigned.
- →Serves as a Facility Operations Specialist/Host Support Coordinator.
