What You'll Do
- →The selectee will serve as a(n) Financial Systems Analyst in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer.
- →Typical work assignments include: Develops and executes the process of implementing financial system software and enhancements, ensuring alignment with the evolving needs of the organization and compliance with federal regulations.
- →Participates in the full life cycle of financial system applications, including integrating new technologies, improving existing functionality, and ensuring seamless interfaces across various platforms.
- →Analyzes and resolves complex user inquiries, system issues, and requests for ad hoc reporting, ensuring timely and accurate resolution while balancing system enhancements with operational needs.
- →Provides advanced analytical assessments on the feasibility and adequacy of proposed system modifications or alternative approaches, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and technical standards.
- →Leads cross functional meetings and technical forums, collaborating with stakeholders from various departments to discuss system performance, user needs, and potential enhancements.
- →Mentors and provide technical leadership to junior financial systems analysts, fostering professional growth and ensuring adherence to best practices in system management and support.
- →Serves as a key participant in strategic planning for the financial systems infrastructure, providing recommendations for future system investments, upgrades, and process improvements.
- →Assists with the implementation of change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions during system upgrades or policy changes, including training, documentation, and user support.

- →This Financial Systems Analyst position starts at a salary of $102,415, GS-12 step 1, with promotion potential to $158,322, GS-13 step 10.
Requirements
- ✓Citizenship is required.
- ✓Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service If selected for this position, you will be required to: Obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Tier 5 clearance.
