- →PIH's mission is to provide low-income families affordable housing opportunities as they transition to self-sufficiency and homeownership.
- →PIH oversees the administration of HUD's Public Housing, Housing Choice Voucher, Section 8 Rental Assistance, and Native American Programs through a staff of Headquarters and Field employees.
- →The field structure for PIH consists of 29 Hub Offices and 16 Program Centers that provide oversight, direct monitoring, and coordination for approximately 4,200 public housing authorities.
- →As a Financial Program Analyst, you will: Design, implement, and develop automated financial systems; providing expert advice in specialized areas of financial planning, resolving problems, and developing policies; determining financial system adequacy; reviewing legislation and regulations; developing regulations and guidelines for program users.
- →Develop and monitor financial internal control program(s): identify problem areas and develop solutions to improve operating program effectiveness.
- →Maintain complex operating financial systems, which include developing systems improvements, providing solutions to program management problems.
Requirements
- ✓The official duty station for this position will be in Alexandria, Virginia.
- ✓Failure to report to duty at this location may be grounds for a disciplinary action, including removal.

- ✓A probationary or trial period may be required.
