The position serves as the Director of Financial Operations, in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at the U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM). The incumbent reports directly to the CFO and is the senior official responsible for directing and sustaining the Agency's core financial operations.
What You'll Do
- →As a Financial Operations Director, you will be responsible for duties to include, but are not limited to: Serves as the principal advisor to the CFO on all matters related to financial operations, accounting integrity, internal controls, financial systems, and audit readiness.
- →Provides senior-level oversight and operational accountability for accounting operations, accounts payable, travel (domestic and international), and payroll activities.
- →Directs and sustains the Agency's internal control program in accordance with the Federal Managers' Financial Integrity Act and OMB Circular A-123.
- →Perform the full range of supervisory duties: plan, schedule, and assign work; conduct annual performance appraisals on staff, identify training needs and opportunities for staff, carry out EEO policies and program activities.
