About the Role

Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Facilities and Asset Management, Operational Support Facilities Division, 1 vacancy located in Tucson, AZ. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.

What You'll Do

  • This position starts at a salary of $76,095.00 (GS-11, Step 1) to $98,928.00 (GS-11, Step 10).
  • Major Duties for this position include but are not limited to: Serving as a purchase card holder or approving official, researching required equipment and materials, developing required forms, and obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Project manager for minor construction and alteration, such as repairs to plumbing or electrical systems, painting or patching walls, or updating fixtures, supporting the project lifecycle from planning to disposal.
  • Developing statements of work for repairs and alteration projects, analyzing contractor work and making recommendations for improvements, and generating project progress reports for review by internal audit and compliance teams.
  • Acting as a liaison with customers, contractors, and maintenance personnel regarding work requests and service needs, as required.

Requirements
