You will serve as a Facility Operations Specialist in the Facilities Department of the Marine Corps Base Hawaii. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.64% will be added to the stated salary. COLA is subject to change at any time.
What You'll Do
- →You will Assist the Camp Smith Facilities Manager with the management and coordination of the maintenance and repair program for MCBH Leeward facilities.
- →You will be responsible for management of maintenance service contracts and serving as the Camp Smith Facilities Department purchase card program coordinator.
- →You will inspect, make recommendations, prepare scope of work, cost estimates, and take action to repair and maintain facilities and grounds.
- →You will serve as the MCHB DOD E-Mall Purchase Coordinator and the Camp Smith Facilities Commercial Purchase Card Program Coordinator.
- →You will participate in the Government or similar programs purchasing material and services using credit cards, SAIC, DOD E-MAILL, or any other appropriate means.
- →You will review maintenance service contracts ie., grounds keeping, refuse, elevator, etc., plans and specifications for new contracts, contract renewal or modification of existing contracts.
- →You will participate with NAVFAC HI Acquisition Team and other NAVFAC representatives to develop detailed service requirements and plan for the service acquisition.
- →You will evaluate requests for contract modifications and determine feasibility or requests and whether they are in the govenmnets' best interest.
Requirements
- ✓You may also qualify based on education as follows: successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.
- ✓Have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
- ✓The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
