About the Role
You will serve as a Environmental Protection Specialist. This position is located within the Department of the Interior, National Park Service, Natl Pk Svc, Pacific We, Resource Mgmt & Visitor Services Div, SAINT GEORGE, UTAH, BOULDER CITY, NEVADA or BAKER, NEVADA
What You'll Do
- →At the full performance level (GS-11) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Serve as an Environmental Compliance specialist for the National Park Service (NPS).
- →Enter projects into the NPS Planning, Environment & Public Comment (PEPC) System.
- →Review projects for National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Endangered Species Act (ESP), National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), Commercial (or Special) Use Authorization (CUA or SUP), Concessions, and other compliance requirements.
- →Draft compliance documents and reports including Environmental Impact Statements (EIS), Environmental Assessments (EA), Categorical Exclusions, etc.

- ✓Citizen or National.
- ✓Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication.
- ✓Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
