About the Role
You will serve as an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the Repair Department, Extended Refit Period (ERP) Support Team Code 304 of TRIDENT REFIT FACILITY, BANGOR.
What You'll Do
- →You will utilize in-depth knowledge of testing and evaluation in SSBN engineering/maintenance providing technical and test planning oversight.
- →You will serve as the technical expert in HME testing for availability certification.
- →You will be accountable for updating the Integrated Work Schedule to accurately reflect testing timelines based on system and/or components for all HME work.
- →You will have technical and management responsibility for all phases of Extended Refit Period (ERP) work in connection with ship’s force testing of HME equipment for assigned maintenance periods.
- →You will assist ship’s force in development of testing sequence; formal work procedures; planning, executing and assessing conventional tests using established criteria.
- →You will plan, coordinate and monitor test projects which will require significant timing modifications involving complex end of availability schedule.
- →You will assist ship’s force with prioritizing testing, resolving conflicts; establishing testing schedules and briefing the IMF ERP Project Superintendent and Production Managers, ship, etc.
- →You will review planning documents produced by the Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical/Electronic planning codes for familiarity with all required retests and maintains an up-to-date Testing Matrix.
