You will serve as a ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the PUBLIC WORKS BUSINESS LINE of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC.
What You'll Do
- →You will conduct visual and predictive maintenance inspections of utility facilities, distribution, and equipment using thermography, infra red and dyes.
- →You will document discrepancies and provide remediation recommendations and estimates.
- →You will collect field data, equipment/line positioning, enter data into GIS system per approved model, review and revise maps per changes in field, maintain equipment/line data to keep information current, and provide maps upon request.
- →You will determine what SOPs are required, develop new SOPs, review sops on periodic basis, revised/modify existing SOPS as necessary, maintain SOP library, monitor adherence to SOPs.
