This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) Facilities and the Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Manage facility and asset management systems by overseeing technical updates, configuring databases, and evaluating new operating systems/application software packages to support engineering, architectural, and other project planning activities.
- →Oversee service and construction contracts by drafting technical requirements, reviewing contractor submittals, validating progress payments/invoices, and performing on-site inspections to ensure compliance with contract terms.
- →Plan and coordinate complex facilities maintenance, renovation, and capital improvement projects by conducting field surveys, developing project plans, and applying design and engineering principles to resolve technical site challenges.
- →Serve as the Contracting Officer’s Representative by setting operational policies, advising leadership and consultants, participating in cross functional planning efforts, and providing technical guidance.
