What You'll Do
- →You will check tires, lights, brakes, gas or fuel oil, water, lubrication and other checks as required.
- →You will drive and operate tracked and wheeled tractors, both gasoline and diesel powered.
- →You will perform excavation work with bulldozers etc., to approximate grades.
- →You will operate motor graders, pulva mixers, paving breakers, backhoes, bucket scrapers, aquatic weed cutter, mudcat, and rollers of various types.
- →You will drive and operate tandem rollers, compressors with attachments and accessories, self-loaders, asphalt distributors, power spray guns and power driven motors.
- →You will perform all phases of motor grading work such as, grading to grade stakes, scarifying, mixing of materials, and road construction.
- →You will act as a team leader over Engineer Equipment Operators and Weigh Scale Clerks who maintain the landfills and other surface areas,
