What You'll Do
- →Operates one or more types of diesel or gasoline powered engineering and construction equipment with wheeled or crawler type traction required for general construction and maintenance activities.
- →Operates such equipment as road grader, backhoe, front-end loader, road roller, bulldozer and large industrial tractors to excavate, backfill, grade or level earth to fine specification.
- →Grades surfaces, compacts soil, or rolls to specifications on flat or rolling terrain.
- →Performs such tasks as cutting grass, patching holes/cracks in pavements, digging ditches, spreading sand and gravel, removing tree limbs and fallen trees, picking up trash and debris, breaking up pavement, spray, spreading top soil and fertilizers.
- →Possesses a valid Government drivers CDL license (Class A or B) for pickup trucks, 20-ton dump truck, rough terrain forklift, front-end loader, backhoe, and farm tractors with implements, lawn tractors, and other related road equipment.
