You will serve as a Senior Program Manager (Engineer) in the Naval Surface Warfare Center of NSWC PHILA DIV.
What You'll Do
- →You will develop and maintain machinery systems Test and Evaluation policy and manage all Division major machinery systems Test and Evaluation programs.
- →You will provide Philadelphia site test facilities planning and coordination, manage special projects coordinate site In-House Laboratory Independent Research (ILIR), Internal Applied Research (IAR) programs, and Technilogy Transfer programs.
- →You will serve as advisor or project/program leader in planning, organizing and directing extensive new work efforts of the agency.
- →You will be responsible for ensuring that long term mission requirements are met with advance state of the art technologies.
- →You will serve as a recognized technical authority for the organization in applying advanced engineering concepts, principles, and processes for CTF programs/project.
Requirements
- ✓Applicants must meet the following basic education requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Successful completion of a professional engineering degree.
- ✓Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
- ✓OR Current registration as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) by any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico.

- ✓OR Successful completion of at least 60 semester hours of courses in the physical, mathematical, and engineering sciences and in engineering that included the courses specified in the basic requirements under paragraph A (above).
- ✓Ordinarily, there should be either an established plan of intensive training to develop professional engineering competence, or several years of prior professional engineering-type experience, e.g., in interdisciplinary positions.
