This National Guard position is for an ELECTRONICS MECHANIC SUPERVISOR-Title 32, Position Description Number D1261000 and is part of the WI CSMS, Wisconsin National Guard.
What You'll Do
- →As an ELECTRONICS MECHANIC SUPERVISOR-Title 32, WS-2604-11, you will be responsible for supervising workers directly or through subordinate leaders and/or supervisors in accomplishing the work of the function.
- →Plans work operations of great scope, complexity, and administrative authority.
- →Determines the sequence, priority, and time for the performance of particular operations within the limits of broad work schedules and time limits.
- →DUTIES: Plans use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials on a week-to week or month-to-month basis.
- →Investigates work related problems such as excessive costs or low productivity and determines causes.
- →Plans and establishes overall leave schedules.
- →Performs the non-supervisory work of the function as needed.
- →Implements regulatory safety requirements and ensures that subordinates wear appropriate safety equipment and follow pertinent safety precautions.
- →Prepares for and participates in various types of readiness evaluations, inspections, mobilization and command support exercises. ** This is NOT an all-inclusive list of duties. **
Requirements
- ✓MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement.
- ✓This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard.
- ✓Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership.

- ✓Military Grades: E-1 through E-9 and W01 CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: -Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance of the position. -This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968.
