About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as a working leader over three or more employees in accomplishing trades and labor work.
What You'll Do
- →Ensure that needed plans, blueprints, materials, and tools are available, and that needed stock is obtained from supply locations.
- →Perform work identical to that performed by incumbents led, i.e., is engaged in installing, modifying, repairing, troubleshooting, loading, and testing new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, fixtures, controls, and equipment.
- →Knowledge and application of electrical principles, materials and safety standards.
- →Ability to troubleshoot and repair motors and controls.
- →Ability to interpret and apply building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings and formulas basic to the trade to figure such things as voltage and resistance.
