This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located with the Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization and Security - Range Branch, Operations, Fort Campbell, KY. Fort Campbell lies on the Kentucky/Tennessee border between Hopkinsville, KY & Clarksville, TN about 45 miles NW of Nashville.
What You'll Do
- →Perform a variety of direct level support electrical repair functions at field or shop locations.
- →Troubleshoot electrical systems and related equipment.
- →Complete repairs on a variety of complex electrical systems and equipment.
- →Interpret technical specifications, schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
- →Use test equipment to troubleshoot malfunctions at the lowest circuit element on single or multiple layer printed circuit boards.
- →Provide technical advice and assistance to employees who are performing diagnostics on simple components.
