This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DOD workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves at the Directorate of Public Works in the Engineering Division.
What You'll Do
- →Applies a multi-disciplined engineering/architecture knowledge focused on design and construction proficiency, skills, and abilities.
- →Advises project team members on resolution of problems encountered throughout design and construction phases.
- →Obtains the necessary project support and expertise to ensure smooth project management and provides necessary guidance and instructions to multi-discipline project team members.
- →Reviews work products to ensure satisfactory accomplishment in conformance with established practices and procedures, adherence to policy, and soundness of recommendations and conclusions.
- →Ensures compliance with all prescribed internal control standards so that project resources are efficiently and effectively managed.
- →Serves as technical advisor and point of contact for A-E contractors in the selection of materials, construction methods, and technical project review.
