About the Role
About the Position: The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is transitioning to the Department of War Education Activity (DoWEA) This position is located at the Office of the Director, Strategic and Organizational Excellence, Research, Planning and Monitoring Branch in Alexandria, Virginia. All candidates must reside within the local commuting area where the position is located. Please DO NOT upload any photographs with your application.
What You'll Do
- →Develop, review, and/or oversee plans for rigorous education research that use advanced quantitative methods to address significant questions of education science, policy, or practice in K-12 education relevant to DoDEA's mission and goals.
- →Conduct rigorous K-12 education research and evaluation studies, including analyzing data arising from those activities using advanced statistical methods.
- →Write products arising from rigorous, quantitative studies to convey study findings to a variety of audiences and consult with staff across DoDEA on issues related to research, evaluation, and statistics.
