This position is located in the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Performance, Risk, and Social Science Office (PRSSO), Social Science and Performance Division (SSPD) with 1 vacancy in Silver Spring, MD.
What You'll Do
- →Solve complex economic issues by formulating plans or methods for circumstances that are unprecedented or difficult to define.
- →Conduct economic impact analysis and economic valuation studies and publish research results.
- →Collaborate on how governmental and non-governmental entities benefit from products and services, research, and data.
- →Implement and interpret results of research to stakeholders.
- →Oversee and participate in the preparation of documents detailing results of research, including economic databases and websites.
- →Collect and disseminate data on economic facts and researched products to senior leadership.
- →NOTE: These duties are described at the full performance level of the ZP-4; the ZP-3 is developmental leading to such performance.

Requirements
- ✓This position will be filled under the DOC Alternative Personnel System (CAPS).
- ✓Under CAPS, positions are classified by career, pay plan, and pay band.
- ✓The ZP-3 is equivalent to the GS-11/12.
- ✓The ZP-4 is equivalent to the GS-13/14.
- ✓The Full Performance Level (FPL) is the ZP-4.
- ✓Key Requirements: Applicants must be U.S.
- ✓Suitable for Federal employment, as determined by background investigation.

- ✓Must be registered for Selective Service, if applicable (www.sss.gov) Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
- ✓Additional Considerations: One year probationary period may be required.
- ✓Payment of relocation expenses (PCS) is not authorized.
- ✓The ZP-3 position requires Low Risk Security Clearance.
- ✓The ZP-4 position requires Moderate Risk Security Clearance.
