What You'll Do
- →The following are the duties of this position at the full working level.
- →If this vacancy includes more than one grade and you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform these duties and receive training to help you grow in this position.
- →Leads economic analysis covering an extensive range of industries and specializations.
- →As a team member or consultant, leads or provides key inputs in planning, directing, and coordinating the examination of transfer pricing issues, such as the pricing or financial valuation of intercompany transfers of tangible property, intangible property, and services.
- →Conducts various kinds of microeconomic research and analyses that require the study of the market environment for products and services, competitive conditions, expected profitability, business practices and functions, transfers of property, useful life of assets, and rates of return.
- →Reviews and analyzes economic, financial,statistical, and tax data to determine the existence of potential economic issues; conducts or participates in interviews; develops an effective work plan, conducts research in source materialsthat include databases, professional journals and publications, government publications, and economic studies.
- →May occasionally work in an advisory role for more junior economists with respect to these types of assignments
Requirements

- ✓Key Eligibility Requirements: U.S Citizenship - Must be a U.S.
- ✓Citizen or National and provide proof of U.S.
- ✓Citizenship.
- ✓Selective Service Registration - Males born after December 31, 1959 are required to be registered with the Selective Service System or prove they are exempt from having to do so.
- ✓Personal Identity Verification (PIV) - Must provide 2 forms of identification from the Form I-9.
