The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Domestic Abuse Victim Advocate (DAVA) providing professional advocacy and support services aligned under the Family Advocacy Program (FAP).
What You'll Do
- →Serves as Domestic Abuse Victim Advocate providing direct support to victims of domestic abuse, child abuse and those impacted by PSB-CY.
- →Responsible for case management activities occurring from initial referral, follow-up through case closure, or transfer.
- →Provides advisory services and annual training to senior leaders, health care professionals, installation personnel, and key community agencies.
- →Represents the domestic abuse victim advocacy installation program to both military and civilian agencies.
