About the Role
This position is within the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Office of Secure Transportation, Office of Technical Services (OTS), Safety and Security Division (SSD), has a great opportunity for a Program Manager. As a Program Manager you will serve as the Safety and Security Division Director and manage the division through multiple subordinate branch chiefs.
What You'll Do
- →As a Program Manager, you will: Manage the work of the Safety and Security Division through multiple subordinate branch chiefs.
- →Perform duties as the delegated Officially Designated Federal Security Authority (ODFSA) with responsibility for the development, implementation, and oversight of OST's safeguards and security programs.
- →Be responsible for long-range program development, implementation, and evaluation, budgetary planning, and the establishment and coordination of special program efforts and major projects.
- →Provide advice to OST and NNSA senior program officers on all matters relating to OST Safety, Security, Testing and Analysis, and Human Reliability Programs.
- →Conduct organizational assessments in the program areas of safety, security, HRP, vulnerability assessment, and performance assurance.
- →Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
Requirements
- ✓Subject to Random Drug Testing Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

- ✓Financial Disclosure is required.
- ✓Must be able to obtain/maintain a Q level Security Clearance.
- ✓You must be a United States Citizen.

- ✓Compliance with Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD-12) governing personal identity which will require that you provide two forms of identification.
- ✓The OST mission is performed on a 24-hour, 7 days a week basis, and this position has been designated as required to participate in both scheduled and unscheduled emergency response exercises and events.
- ✓May be required to successfully complete a one (1) year probationary or two (2) year trial period.
- ✓Employees serving on a probationary or trial period may be terminated at any time during the probationary or trial period for performance, conduct, or business-related reasons in the interest of Federal service.
- ✓May be required to successfully complete a one (1) year supervisory probationary period.
