This position serves as a registered licensed Dietitian for providing nutritional services that elevate the health status of the tribal community. The Dietitian will utilize their professional diabetes experience in counseling pre-diabetics, and diabetics. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
What You'll Do
- →Make professional decisions or recommendations concerning nutritional care and dietary changes.
- →Provide consultation, in-service training, education and nutrition/diet counseling to the staff and patients.
- →Conducts nutritional assessments of patients, developing care plans consistent with cultural, social and psychological requirements.
- →Assist with development of policies and procedures related to nutritional prevention and intervention.
- →Monitor and evaluate activities of nutrition and the special diabetes program for performance improvement.
- →Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
