About the Role
You will serve as a DEPUTY PUBLIC WORKS OFFICER in the Department of the Navy of US NAVAL AIR FACILITY ATSUGI. ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please see Additional Information section below.***
What You'll Do
- →You will provide expert direction and assistance to all other supervisors in the Public Works Department on personnel and human resources matters.
- →You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, consideration of difficulty and requirements of the assignments and capability of the employee.
- →You will maintain liaison with high-level managers throughout the installation and help coordinate the Department's efforts to satisfy the client's needs.
- →You will be responsible for planning, prioritizing, preparing, executing, tracking and implementing the control and distribution of sustainment, maintenance and repair, facility service, utilities and transportation funding.
- →You will ensure all Public Works functions are in compliance with regulations governing budget, accounting and expenditures and that the maintenance, utilities and transportation products and services provided are cost effective and high quality.
Requirements
- ✓Additional Information: ICTAP Applicants: To be considered well-qualified and exercise selection priority as an ICTAP candidate, displaced Federal employees must satisfy all qualification requirements for the position and receive a rating in the highly qualified category (score 85) or higher.
