Under the guidance of the Associate Administrator, you will serve as the Deputy Associate Administrator for Program Management (TPM) in the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). Works with the Associate Administrator to address the full range of delegated executive responsibilities for program, budget, administrative and personnel activities. Serve as a key official for allocation of funds for transit assistance; development and dissemination of program guidance and grant management.
What You'll Do
- →As a Deputy Associate Administrator for the Office of Program Management, you will: Direct complex national transit programs, resource allocation, and program and project management nationwide.
- →Serve as a recognized technical authority on federal transit legislation, interpreting broadly stated statutes and formulating nationwide program guidance.
- →Manage human and physical resources, evaluating performance, and guiding subordinate supervisors.
- →The ideal candidate is a dynamic, strategic executive with experience in federal transportation programs, large-scale capital project oversight, and financial stewardship under 49 U.S.C.
- →The ideal candidate also has strong analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills.
- →Experience in the oversight and analysis of transportation policy, programs or procedures is desirable.
Requirements
